Tim is a Consultant at Kumi where he delivers research and analysis to Kumi’s work with clients and broader business support. Prior to joining Kumi he worked in the business development unit at Itad, a Brighton-based consultancy firm that specialises in monitoring and evaluation of international development programmes.
Tim was awarded a Distinction for his Masters in Economic Anthropology and a First for his BA in Anthropology, both from the University of Sussex. During his studies he researched working conditions in the global south, unemployment in Brighton, and the disposal of electronic goods.
An active volunteer, Tim has worked with people living on the streets in Brighton for over four years. He spent six months with Tearfund in Malawi, supporting projects on microfinance, climate-smart agriculture, and sexual and reproductive health.
In his spare time he enjoys tinkling the ivories and swimming in Britain’s balmy seas!
