Here are what some of Andrew Britton's previous clients have to say about their experiences of working with him:
Andrew authored a research study on biofuels and land use change on behalf of an industry and NGO consortium of which Shell was a part. The project involved complex research and the development of concrete measures to drive biofuels sustainability through policy and investment incentives. Andrew did a great job managing different perspectives amongst consortium members and driving alignment. The final report was authoritative, well written and highly relevant to the EU policy debate. The report and Andrew’s presentations were well received by EU policy-makers and stakeholders, and helped to shift a policy debate that had been in a stalemate. I would happily recommend Andrew for other similar projects.
Andrew led the team that supported us with the design and implementation of the conflict minerals compliance programme for Vodafone Group. This included advising us on how to improve our existing compliance activities, helping us to engage with our suppliers, developing a compliance management system and analysing the data for our first report to the SEC. We were very pleased with quality of this work and I enjoyed working with Andrew who demonstrated excellent technical knowledge, was responsive to our requirements and very easy to work with.
Andrew delivered a strategic sustainability management assessment for our palm oil joint venture activities in Brazil. This external review was presented to the Board and was used for making strategic decisions on the project’s management plan. Andrew and his team were perfectly skilled for this work. He fully understood our objectives and was very responsive to our requests as the project developed, delivering not only a detailed work program but also a final report which provided technical quality, clear presentation and comprehensive content. It was a pleasure working with him.
Andrew was the lead author for a research study commissioned by the World Gold Council on the socio-economic impacts of the gold mining industry. This project, which I managed for the Council, required analysis and interpretation of complex economic and social data in order to understand the industry’s impacts at a global, national and community level. The resulting report was authoritative, intelligently structured and well written. It is proving extremely valuable in supporting the World Gold Council’s programme of stakeholder engagement. Andrew demonstrated real insight into the mining industry and international development, and I quickly gained confidence in the quality of his work and ability to deliver the project to brief. He was responsive to our requirements and was a pleasure to deal with day-to-day. I would be delighted to work with Andrew again.
