Kumi was commissioned by the Private Enterprise Programme Zambia (PEPZ) to develop the strategy for a co-ordinated programme to increased local procurement amongst mining companies operating in the Zambian copperbelt region.
Kumi was appointed to develop an OECD-approved tool and methodology to assess companies’ due diligence practices against the recommendations set out in the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains in the Garment and Footwear Sector.
Kumi was commissioned by the OECD to deliver the strategically important Alignment Assessment project. This project evaluated the five largest mineral supply chain programmes against the recommendations of the OECD’s Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Mineral Supply Chains and created the assessment methodology that will be used by the European Commission to assess compliance with the forthcoming EU Conflict Minerals Regulation.
Kumi has been commissioned by a major European car manufacturer to support the business in developing a responsible sourcing strategy that implements the due diligence recommendations of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance.
