Andrew Britton from Kumi Consulting will be speaking at the annual conference of the Conflict Free Smelter Initiative, held in Santa Clara, California on 10 November 2016.
Founded in 2008 by members of the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition and the Global e-Sustainability Initiative, the Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative (CFSI) has grown into a key resource for companies that are working to address conflict minerals issues in their supply chains. Over 330 companies and associations from seven different industries participate in the CFSI today, and the CFSI’s smelter audit programme and reporting tools have become central to conflict minerals due diligence and compliance efforts globally.
Andrew will be speaking on the topic of alignment between industry programmes that address conflict minerals and the OECD’s Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Mineral Supply Chains.
